Can I plan an Australian holiday for free?

Yes. Browsing destinations, searching experiences and building a trip in the KF Downunder Trip Planner is free and needs no account. You can plan a multi-day itinerary, add experiences to each day and share a read-only link with your group. Creating a free KANGAFUNK account lets you save trips, reopen them later and keep your favourites together. Paid membership tiers are optional and add eligible member-only offers, not access to planning.

How does the KF Downunder Trip Planner work?

The planner opens an interactive map of Australia. Choose your destinations or pick a state, add experiences and stays from the marketplace, and the planner groups them into days with a live budget estimate. You can set dates, traveller numbers and travel style, reorder stops, and watch the map markers and route line update as you go. When the itinerary looks right, send it to the KANGAFUNK travel desk as a package enquiry.

Can I save my travel itinerary?

Registered KANGAFUNK members can save itineraries to their account, reopen them later and keep developing them from the member portal, and they can push trip reminders to their own Google Calendar. Guests can still build a full itinerary and share a read-only link without signing in, but that trip lives in the session until an account is created. Can I book experiences through KANGAFUNK?

Most listings convert by enquiry. You send your dates, traveller numbers and questions, KANGAFUNK passes the enquiry to the operator or partner, and they confirm availability and final pricing directly. Some listings run through a partner booking link and are completed on that partner's own website, and a KANGAFUNK booking fee applies where KANGAFUNK handles the transaction. Listed prices are indicative in Australian dollars unless a partner confirms them.
